Summary

The six D’Aplièse sisters have each been on their own incredible journey to discover their heritage, but they still have one question left unanswered: who and where is the seventh sister?

They only have one clue – an image of a star-shaped emerald ring。 The search to find the missing sister will take them across the globe; from New Zealand to Canada, England, France and Ireland, uniting them all in their mission to at last complete their family。

In doing so, they will slowly unearth a story of love, strength and sacrifice that began almost one hundred years ago, as other brave young women risk everything to change the world around them。

The Missing Sister is the seventh instalment in Lucinda Riley’s multimillion copy epic series。

Discover yourself at the heart of history。

I loved these books I enjoyed the fantasy and the historical aspect of each sister。 This one I did not like being left on a cliff hanger。 It was kinda incomplete to me。

This book was similar to the author's other novels in this series。 It's a slower read in the beginning but it picks up。 I love how each book takes you to a different country。 Looking forward to reading the final book in this series as I have any unanswered questions。 This book was similar to the author's other novels in this series。 It's a slower read in the beginning but it picks up。 I love how each book takes you to a different country。 Looking forward to reading the final book in this series as I have any unanswered questions。 。。。more

I've finished this book with more questions than answers about the series。 I really enjoyed about 3 out of the 7 "Seven Sisters" books, but found overall they got more tedious to read, repetitive, and full of "fluff" chapters。 I ended up skim-reading more of each book as the series went on。Really enjoyed the Irish history in this, but the chapters about the sisters pursuit of Merry and their general life recaps became boring and repetitive。I can't believe I've read seven of these books。 I've finished this book with more questions than answers about the series。 I really enjoyed about 3 out of the 7 "Seven Sisters" books, but found overall they got more tedious to read, repetitive, and full of "fluff" chapters。 I ended up skim-reading more of each book as the series went on。Really enjoyed the Irish history in this, but the chapters about the sisters pursuit of Merry and their general life recaps became boring and repetitive。I can't believe I've read seven of these books。 。。。more

The Missing SisterAs with all the other books in The Seven Sisters series, another compelling read 。 Can’t wait for the final book to be released。

I think this was the best book in the series。 Good thing I knew ahead of time that there will be another book in the series。 The story line is about finding the seventh sister and convincing her that she is part of the family。 As in the other books, the story is about the family she grew up with。 Very interesting learning about Ireland

This series has lost its sparkle with me。 Just to much detail and 2 many pages。

I was pretty annoyed by the cliffhanger ending of this book, as I know the author died last year and her son is planning on finishing the final book for her。 I wish this one had more answers and I didn't have to wait until spring 2023 to finish。 I did enjoy the Irish history and loved that Merry/Mary (literally the same name, why) was able to reunite her old benefactors。 I was pretty annoyed by the cliffhanger ending of this book, as I know the author died last year and her son is planning on finishing the final book for her。 I wish this one had more answers and I didn't have to wait until spring 2023 to finish。 I did enjoy the Irish history and loved that Merry/Mary (literally the same name, why) was able to reunite her old benefactors。 。。。more

Worst book so far。 Only two or three historical chapters were interesting, but the present-day storyline went nowhere - except on many many pointless airplane flights, and many many pointless room-service orders were made。 Everything about this escapist rich-people life is just frustrating to read, and not even remotely desirable。Nothing is left of the sisters' personalities, only all of their new-found significant others identify who's who (oh, and the one who lost hers, completely randomly fin Worst book so far。 Only two or three historical chapters were interesting, but the present-day storyline went nowhere - except on many many pointless airplane flights, and many many pointless room-service orders were made。 Everything about this escapist rich-people life is just frustrating to read, and not even remotely desirable。Nothing is left of the sisters' personalities, only all of their new-found significant others identify who's who (oh, and the one who lost hers, completely randomly finds a new super unrealistic love interest)。The mystery of the why the sisters were all adopted by a crazy but kind kajillionaire is being dragged out for far too long now, and the conclusion, if it ever comes, can only be disappointing。 。。。more
